Q) Where are the pick up and drop off points? A) We are based in the Lake District, Junction 40 of the M6.  Q) Is there parking for our car? A) Yes, there is secure parking for customer vehicles. (only 1 car per hire) Q) How many miles to the gallon do the motorhome do and which type of fuel? A) The motorhomes do around 25-28 miles to the gallon and are diesel, they come with a full tank of diesel and are to be returned  full. (if not returned full there will be a charge of £50.00 as well as the cost of the diesel retained from the deposit) Q) What is the insurance deposit for and is it refundable? A) The motorhomes have comprehensive insurance, but if there is any damage or an accident the first £500.00 (£1000.00 from 2007) is payable by the customer, if the motorhome is returned undamaged, clean and the toilet emptied then the insurance deposit is refundable. Q) Are the Motorhomes New? A) The 1st 630 was purchased in April 06, Oct 06 and the 2nd Firebrand 630 was new May 07. Q) I am 24 can I drive the motorhomes? A) The restriction on 25 year olds driving these motorhomes is because of the Driving Licence restrictions i.e. if you are younger than 25 you will have to pass another driving test to drive a motorhome.  If you have taken and passed the additional test then you might be able to hire a motorhome, your details will be required by our insurers. Q) Do you have any Automatic motorhomes? A)  No sorry all our motorhomes are manual. (Looking into finding an automatic motorhome for our fleet) Q) How do we find you? A)  6 weeks before your holiday I will be in touch about the remaining balance due, I will also attach a map and directions on how to find us. Q) Are pets allowed? A) No for the benefit of all our customers we do not allow pets. Q) What length is the motorhome? A) The Firebrand 630s are 7.5m. Q) Are all the motorhomes right hand drive? A) Yes. Q) Are the hire periods for a minimum seven days? A) Yes and No. Yes in high season 7 days or longer, low or mid season the motorhomes can be booked from 3 nights. Q) What time can we pick up the Motorhome and what is the drop off time? A) The pick up time is 3 till 6 PM (later by arrangement) drop off time is up to 10.30 AM, you are not charged for the return day. The motorhomes have to be returned on time for the next customer, (a charge is made if the Motorhome is returned late).
